KPS MK2

KINEF PASSIVE SPAKER, code name Pacifier, is a stereo set of two way passive loudspeakers.

The KPS is the closest possible passive version to the active KAS, while still meintaining clarity and fullness. It delivers the same spatial intimacy and realism KINEFDESIGNS aims for, but with full freedom of amplifier pairing. The cabinet geometry, internal damping system and crossover topology are engineered to preserve timing, coherence and linearity.

Expect resolution without harshness, bass without boom, emotional weight without fatigue.

While the speaker's placement in your space will naturally influence its acoustics. It is strongly recommended to place them in an acoustically treated room larger than 80m³ (NOTE: cubic meters), following the recommended below stated placement guidelines, failing to do so, an additional external DSP is required:

• Distance between speaker units: 2m to 4m (greater separation requires more angling toward the listening position).
• Distance between each speaker unit and the wall behind them: 5cm to 10cm - loudspeaker is designed with rear wall effect in mind.
• Distance between each speaker unit and the side wall: Minimum of 1m.
• Distance between the speaker units and the listening position: Minimum of 2m.
• Distance between listening position and the wall behind it: Minimum of 2m.
